On Emma Watson's Speech About Feminism

So this isn't going to be a review post.
In fact, I don't know if it's gonna be much of a post at all.
I just wanted to let you guys know Emma Watson did a thing and it's amazing.
I am now a big Emma Watson-enthusiast



So basically yesterday, Emma Watson gave this totally amazing speech about feminism on the 20th of September. If you didn't know, she identifies as a feminist, and is a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. Yesterday, she was in NY to announce the launch of "HeforShe", a campaign to help end gender inequality.

For the launch, she gave this completely amazing speech. It was basically about how the word "Feminist" has become synonymous with "man-hater", "macho", and other ill-connotative words. It was also about how men and women both should start respecting themselves and each other, and stop with all the forcing of gender roles.
