On Emma Watson's Speech About Feminism

 Carlo Allegri/Reuters

So this isn't going to be a review post.
In fact, I don't know if it's gonna be much of a post at all.
I just wanted to let you guys know Emma Watson did a thing and it's amazing.
I am now a big Emma Watson-enthusiast

Review: Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun

Is this manga/anime even real?!

It's too good to be true.

Lucklily, it is true, and I'll be making a review on it.

(Also, this review will be both on the manga and the anime since they are so similar.)

Isla and the Happily Ever After

This book was just...

Perfect. TOO perfect.

I read it in 5 hours, and cried for about three.

It also came out today, if that helps show you my COMPLETE AND UTTER DEDICATION to this book.

I swear, I'm going to have to start drawing fanart for this, it was so good.

(This entire post is basically gonna be a big spoiler of the book. You have been warned)

All of these bottles, and you had to recycle me

Hi!
Long time no see!
(And award for the most sporadically-posting blogger goes to... ME!)
I KNOW I promised to post more reviews, and I SHALL... as soon as I get time. This summer has been filled with unfulfilled ambitions. Anyway, this post is going to be a bit different from my usual reviews.

Arctic Monkeys live at Summerfest.

I saw AM live...
Wow.
It was awesome.
Even though I was only able to see them through screens on the sides of the stage.
It was amazing.
They played pretty much all of my favorite songs, like "Library Pictures", "Crying Lighting", and "505" (to name a few).
Also, everyone was getting high around me, so I have a major headache...
Just wow.

What I thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick

(This is the same review I wrote for my local library thing, but it's mine, I assure you)

Woahh...

I totally just fell off.
I'm so sorry.

These past few weeks were my last weeks of school, and I was super busy with homework. Luckily, it's summer now, so I'll be able to post more often.

Again, sorry, and thanks.

On the ending of Kill la Kill

*sniff* I'm gonna miss this anime.

Lately...

I haven't posted in forever! So long time no see!
I have no excuse for my absense, other than netflix( I'll just leave it at that).

So, first, I'll go ahead and give some life updates:
* I got into a girl's rock camp in NY!!!!! This will be my first time ever in the big city!
*Next month, I'll be testing for my 4th degree black belt in MMA!
*The quarter is almost over, and I'm freaking out.
* I plan to post more often... I'm gonna start posting reviews of music, movies, anime, manga, fashion. I may also post more life updates.

ALLRIGHT I'M OUT!

The Glorification of Depression and Self-harm

*This is a paper I wrote for English, and I liked it (for the most part) So I thought I'd post it on here
** There are some painful clincher and topic sentences, so I understand if you aren't able to bear it.

Life things

I won my school's Spelling Bee yesterday.
And it kind of sucked.
I originally hadn't wanted to even participate in the entire thing. Getting in front of people makes me super nervous. But for some reason, I just have this thing where I hate to not do my best. And so, I did the best that I could, got lucky, and I ended up winning. And then I got angry at myself, because I'm sure there were kids in the competition who really wanted to win, and I stole the opportunity from them.  Then I got angrier at myself because I always think into things way too much. And then I was upset because I realized they took off Keroro from Netlfix.

Sometime I get on my nerves.

Going off on ANOTHER tangent, I have been super into Shakespeare-ish things lately. What with Kat's BFF on 10 Things I Hate About You, my friend at school who can't get enough of Shakespearean prose, and my TAG class, I've had tons of motivators to read Shakespeare's plays.
Gonna go out with a cool picture of Anime!Marina from tumblr.

Tavi Gevinson

So Tavi Gevinson is a pretty cool person that I've really liked for the last year or so.

If you don't know who she is already, you can check out some of her work at Rookie Mag or The Style Rookie.
